Alright, I'm at the end of my rope. 0700 Tuesday is the deadline for my 1st care plan this semester and I still have the database and 2 DX with long term goal to write. I have been working on it since yesterday afternoon and have completed 3 pages of meds, 4.5 pages of labs, and 2 DX with long term blah. I'm a bit burnt out now. NANDA can suck it.
I'm a bit peeved, too, that we were given only one week to write this care plan. For me really just 2 days- yesterday and today. I met my pt last Tuesday 9/7 but had no time on the floor to get info. I stayed late Wed. to get my stuff. Sure, I could have started that night and told my kids that I wouldn't be home, but Liam's dad is a bit pissy and can't find a way to take both his step-son and his own son to school in the morning. Shit, IDK how I can manage to get my kids to school and commute to SR 5 days/week AND manage to pass this forsaken program. Wait, I know: I rock and Mike sucks it! Like NANDA! I have a tiny smidge of time after the kids are to school and before I drive down. That's it. Damn.
oh boy, babble babble babble...bedtime. I'll scrunch it in tomorrow. If I stay up any longer I will be worth exactly shit in class and it is going to be the Orangebrook lecturing. She drives me nuts with the mispronunciations and Spoonerisms. Yeah, sometimes I mix 'em up too, but have you seen her curriculum vitae? You'd think affarent and efferent would be clear to her by now. Arghh oligondrocytes pikopilothermia sonnemetre monoclonic status elipticus with tetrogenic meds holy fuck. Word salad anyone? IDK if that kind of holy mess would be tolerated by a student. 3 more months.
